There are lot of restaurants and supermarket near by and you can reach the old town  and the beach in about 10 minutes by car. The coastal road is not far away from the apartments and offers easy access to different excursion destinations. You can look for a nice beach bay to take a break on the sea or visit the winding streets with stone houses and old ruins of the former fortress of Stari Bar or the new part of bar with nice promenade in 30 minutes by car.  Also worthwhile is a trip along the panoramic road to Virpazar and from there a boat trip on Lake Skadar.
